Hybrid Fibrillation – Why Unipak Twine Has Excellent Knot Strength
Unipak’s range of twine products are manufactured using advanced polymers, are all mechanically fibrillated, a process called ‘hybrid fibrillation’ meaning that the twine remains soft and folds in on itself upon knotting, creating a higher knot strength. All Unipak twines are uniform in their twisting and softness, so thereby providing smooth running, excellent knotting and knot strength, whilst at the same time being soft on your knotters.

Our ‘standard’ range of large square baling twines consist of standard application with extra metreage in a non-challenging application, through to a slightly heavier ‘medium’ application big square twine as below.
UniPak Golden Boy Medium / Big Square twine delivers the efficiency of the 2700m extra length, coupled with 210kg knot strength. Golden Boy is best suited in 3×3 and 4×3 standard (non HD) applications, bringing you the best value-for-dollar twine on the market. The high visibility bright golden coloured twine has the same softness and minimal mechanical wear properties as its big brothers in the UniPak range.
UniPak Green Machine Big Square twine is the biggest selling twine in the range, with high tech performance of 245kg knot break strength. This popular twine offers strength and good twists per metre, making it a round, uniform and soft twine to secure your bales.

UniPak Terracotta Warrior HD Big Square twine offers a great solution for your HD baling machines. 300kg of knot strength sees the Terracotta Warrior suitable for the majority of HD applications, in a high visibility terracotta colour.
UniPak Bale Master Specially formulated twine for Ultra HD applications, such as extreme straw baling in challenging circumstances, Bale Master provides a solution to knot slippage when using extreme density/high compression machines such as the latest Krone, Massey and Claas machines. This premium twine is highly visible (rust) and supplies 320kg knot strength.
UniPak Maxi Ultra HD A specific twine which application suits extremes in Ultra High Density baling, such as with the Massey UHD 2370. The High-Vis orange-coloured premium twine delivers an incredible 340kg knot strength to cater for the harsh application that it’s intended for. And the extra length of an 11kg spool means fewer changes and more efficient usage.

Small Square / Round Baler Twine
Our small square baling twine and big round bale twine both come in twin packs. With extra meterage per spool to assist with less stoppages and downtime, you’ll be very happy with the performance in our small square and round bale range.
UniPak Orange Crush is an extra thick small square twine is designed to cater for improved and more comfortable handling, due to the thicker diameter. Orange Crush is easier on your hands as well as a high performance 120kg knot strength capability. As with all other UniPak twines, is has been formulated to be soft on the machinery hence smoother running and more efficient. Packaged with 2 x 1525m spools, the thick and bulky twine is designed to withstand the rigours of small square hay being pressed to the maximum pressure. Orange Crush is presented in a highly visible colour to aid in operation and any twine that is left on the ground when feeding out.
UniPak Blue Ribbon, Unipak Black Panther and our NEW Small Square Pink small square twines come in a user-friendly 4500m twin pack to give you a compromise of long runnage and strength. Blue Ribbon, Black Panther and our new Pink twine holds 80kg knots in a high visibility pink, blue or a black which is very popular in horticultural twine applications for differentiation from the lighter colours in green houses and hort applications
UniPak Round Bale twine is manufactured for easy running to feed onto round bales. Round Bale is supplied in an 8500m light blue twin pack and is also popular as a horticultural twine too for its long spool length, and offering an economical twine that is not really challenged in strength in this arena
UniPak Round Bale XL offers all the features of our Round Bale product but with a massive 12200m per pack. Round bale XL comes in light blue twin pack and offers a highly economical choice for the horticultural arena
